Joanna McCracken, attorney, yoga instructor and meditation teacher, will show us how to apply mindfulness and meditation techniques to improve our overall well-being during this stressful election season. Ingrid Boje, a licensed therapist, will discuss anxiety, why we have it, how to identify it and how to manage it effectively when faced with tense political conversations and interactions with others who may or may not agree with our political point of view. 

LAW BOOK CLUB PRESENTS:


OCTOBER 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

LAW will host the authors of the book, Welcome to Capitol Hill 50 years of Scandal in Tennessee Politics, Joel Ebert and Erik Schelzig, for an in-depth discussion on their book about local politics.

The President of the Board, Courtney Orr, will host the event at her lovely home in East Nashville. We encourage all generations of LAW members to attend the event!
