Annual New Admittees' Breakfast

For over 40 years the Lawyers' Association for Women - Marion Griffin Chapter has honored all new admittees to the Tennessee bar at a breakfast prior to the November swearing-in ceremony in Nashville. The breakfast has become THE signature legal event in Middle Tennessee. Attendees have included members of the state and federal judiciary, members of the Tennessee Bar, and elected officials from Nashville and the surrounding areas. 

The class of 2020 was met with challenges that no other class has experienced in 100 years, and as many in-person traditions were sidelined in 2020 so was the New Admittees' Breakfast. In a "normal" year, many of the New Admittees would not be able to make the trip to Nashville to attend in-person. 

This year, we hope they will all attend the special virtual New Admittees' Breakfast so we can congratulate them on hanging in there in the midst of uncertainty and not giving up.
