YWCA-LAW Legal Clinic

Please join LAW as we work with the YWCA to provide a free legal clinic to women in need in the Nashville area.  Once you have registered, LAW will send you the address for the location at a local women's shelter along with a confidentiality agreement.  

The purpose of the Clinic is to provide an opportunity for women and residents of the YWCA Domestic Violence Center to meet with an attorney to discuss their legal issues.  Volunteer attorneys are invited to provide one-time legal consultation to clients of the YWCA Domestic Violence Center. The Center provides emergency safe housing, counseling, and support to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Although volunteers are free to take on YWCA members as clients, it is not expected. All attorneys are welcome to participate. Volunteers do not need prior pro bono experience.
