In 2022, Davidson County sworn in a record number of 18 female judges. Since then, they have been working diligently to serve their community and state as jurists. LAW's CLE program will explore the day-to-day reality of women on the bench across the state. The panel discussion will examine unique challenges of managing courtroom dockets in various courts (including state and federal courts), how courts of different jurisdictions work together to ensure that each case is within its proper venue, and the panelists' experience of working as a female jurist in what has traditionally been a male-dominated space. Panelists will also share their own insights and advise to anyone who aspires to become a judge within their own career. The CLE will be one hour of general credit.
